My Motto

Become the Happiest Couple I know. Inspire others: Individuals, couples and communities to take up that challenge and create the reality of what’s possible.

This is a picture of my husband Dave and me. We’re married fifteen years next month and have 2 kids, a daughter 11years old and a son 8 years old. Like all couples we’ve had our ups and downs but we’ve really learned how to take the unexpected storms in stride. It’s a commitment, a practice and a growth journey that I swear to you feels better, sexier by the day.

I’m conscious of the patterns in my life, what I did and didn’t get from my parents, what ways of being in the world and my relationships that I do and don’t want to hand down to my children. Today is a gift. It took me a long time to feel that versus the automatic pilot of the rat wheel my life had become for so many years prior.

No one teaches you about relationships, that’s where I come in.  Integrating the latest knowledge from neuroscience with evidence based clinical practices, I help you get the “Why” the level of change I talk about is possible, not just a dream or a hope or a wish.

More is possible. Let me show you how.

The romantic phase of relationship is meant to end. That’s when the real opportunity for growth happens. We’ve struggled and we’ve grown, further and closer than I could have ever imagined. The infamous words of Jay Z come to my mind, may the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrow’s. I truly believe that and I’m excited for the future and to helping you.

I’ve been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist for over 15 years and have trained in the most competitive and prestigious institutions. My doctoral internship was at the Payne Whitney Clinic of Weill Cornell Medical College at New York Presbyterian Hospital. I received 1 of the 2 spots competing with students from all doctoral programs in the United States. I trained like mad to get there and still do. I’ve cross trained more than anyone I know in different models of mind and body based therapies that promote and allow for healing and growth. I will help you reconnect to yourself, your life and your partner in ways perhaps you may even come to know for the first time.

I’m passionate about sex and relationships. Creating those difficult and meaningful conversations. Bringing couples together, and groups together to inspire the passion of what’s possible and the path to make that happen.

So often I hear the lament of the grass is greener. There will allows be a comparison trap of someone who has more of something, anything that you would really like to have. The one thing I know for sure, the grass is greener where you water it! Practicing the art and decision to love is a skill. It feels good. It is sustainable even when the unexpected stressors of life come to pass.
